The main objectives of this Cell are to create awareness and counselling to the students for their future opportunities, and careers as well as to give necessary information to that effect besides conducting and arranging remedial coaching and counselling classes for weaker students. To guide and foster our students to reach the highest level of competition and achievements.
The Committee/Cell, therefore, since its inception has been conducting remedial classes for weaker students in their weak subject or papers. With the funds allotted to this purpose, the Cell/Committee has been able to arrange a number of remedial and counselling classes for students drawing teachers mainly from the College faculty members.
Necessary steps have also been taken for giving lectures on various selected topics for career guidance and counseling. These classes were taken by the teaching faculty of the College as well as local government officials in their concerned subjects or departments. The Committee has expeditiously spent its own funds for organizing these classes and for teachers' honorariums.
The Committee also understands that majority of our students come from poor English background. So to help them improve their English speaking, spoken English classes have been conducted on various occasions with the help of our faculty member and some local educated people who are fluent in speaking English language
